Il titolo della performance viene dal nome che gli scientifici hanno dato allo spazio vuoto tra le fronde degli alberi della stessa specie: fissure de timidité. Questa distanza dimostra che una comunicazione avviene anche se invisibile all’occhio umano e non ancora spiegabile scientificamente.
Il lavoro di Maria Donata d’Urso sottolinea le dinamiche di scambio necessarie a tutte le esistenze e invita a una riflessione sull’idea di frontiere tra le specie nella relazione tra uomo e ambiente.
